- Shed housed horse drawn manual pump until 06/02/1930, when station closed and Dorking took over responsibility for fire cover. Building later used by scouts, then Dorking Operatic Society, but in 2000, a dustcart attempting to exit the Reading Room car park damaged it beyond repair.
